Wooden frames provide a unique and extremely exclusive setting for your image. Thanks to the vast range of wood and numerous types of processing and finishing, we can offer almost unlimited variations.
As standard we use profiles from beech and oak, but it is also possible to choose another type of wood (e.g. elm, acacia, walnut, apple, pear, lime or alder) and adapt the parameters of the profiles. Depending on the size and type of the frame, the back can be closed by museum board or the artwork can be mounted onto foam board or Dibond. We also offer a wide range of matboards made by Crescent, Nielsen and Scappi Cartoni.

SHADOW GAP FRAMES

A shadow gap frame is one formed by moving the face to the line of the frame with a gap left free between the artwork and the frame, creating a characteristic shadow. The artwork can be affixed to a Dibond board, white or black acrylic glass, and also PVC, and protected with laminate or clear acrylic glass at the front.

This type of frame gives the impression of the artwork being suspended in the frame, and can provide a three-dimensional effect.
For producing shadow gap frames, we use beech and oak profiles as well as Nielsen profiles as standard. It is also possible to order other types of wood such as elm, acacia, walnut, apple, pear, lime and alder.

SANDWICH

Sandwich

A "sandwich" is a combination of a high-class acrylic glass finish affixed to the face of the work with an additional lining of the back with acrylic glass, PVC or dibond. Using such materials guarantees that the work will be rigid and durable, with unique results.
A photograph placed under high-quality acrylic glass acquires a characteristic depth and sheen, achieving an exceptional impression of increased contrast and colour saturation.
Using additional material on the back of the work not only stiffens the artwork, but depending on its thickness, colour scheme and sheen also brings out the piece's character and strengthens its colours.

We offer the following types of sandwich:
acrylic glass – acrylic glass
acrylic glass – PVC
acrylic glass – dibond
